Holiday Reading Series

Share some holiday cheer with Desipina & Company by joining us this winter for the developmental readings of two new works by our members.

Saturday, December 16th, 2006 - 7:00pm

Shetal Shah and David Harper bring us their screenplay:

"The Substitute Man"
What is success? When do we know we've got it? What if we're wrong?

Josh is the "it" guy at his ad agency. He's got one last account before his dreams come true - including his dream for him and Nia. Nia's not so sure. Especially when David, through a twist of fate and a nudge from Josh, flips the script on happily ever after...for all of them.

Tuesday, December 19th, 2006 - 7:00pm

Rehana Mirza introduces her new full-length play:

"The Radio Diaries of Hank, Yank, & Prank"
A semi-serious comedy about a radio show that wakes up New York with frivolous pranks, and the intern who comes along to reform it, one fart joke at a time.

Desipina & Co. holiday festivities to follow the December 19th reading...Feel free to bring beverages/baked goods to share!
