Desipina's CoLab is a collective of artists who work together to develop new works by emerging playwrights and screenwriters. Launched in 2006, the CoLab provides a regular opportunity for writers to workshop their scripts with talented actors and to get feedback from peer writers on works-in-progress. In addition to regular meetings with members, CoLab writers and actors further hone their craft through developmental readings and showcases, including the Spring Reading Series in April and the Holiday Reading Series in December. The CoLab offers a supportive and creative environment for members to experiment with and explore their art, as well as network and build relationships with other members of the theatre and film community.

The CoLab is led by Co-Artistic Directors Naveen Bahar Choudhury and Uday Jhunjhunwala, and Managing Director Rakesh Chaudhary. We are currently accepting applications from writers and actors for the Fall 2007 Season. Applicants should send an e-mail expressing their interest to .
